1. Eligibility

  • Pensioners drawing pension from DCCB Mahendragarh branches.

  • Includes family pensioners and retired bank staff.

  • Must reside in District Mahendragarh at the time of application.

  • Branch must have NPA < 5% to process new loans.


2. Purpose

  • For personal needs, including medical expenses.


3. Loan Amount

  • Maximum ₹10,00,000 or 15 times monthly pension, whichever is lower.


4. Type of Loan

  • Term Loan or Overdraft with reducing Drawing Power (DP).


5. Margin

  • Nil


6. Interest Rates (Fixed)

  • Fixed for 2 years, reviewed every 2 years thereafter.

  • Rates based on CIBIL score:

For General Pensioners:

700 – 799 11.50% p.a.
600 – 699 11.75% p.a.
Below 600 Not eligible
Score 0 to -1 / 1–5 12.00% p.a.

For Bank Staff Pensioners:

Note: If the pension account is shifted to another bank, 2% extra interest will apply.


7. Penal Charges

  • 3% p.a. extra interest on overdue amount after 15 days.

  • Late fee: ₹250 + taxes.

  • Cheque bounce: ₹250 + taxes.


8. Processing Fee

  • General Public: 0.50% of loan (min ₹500 + taxes)

  • Bank Staff: No charges


9. Prepayment Charges

  • NIL


10. Repayment Terms

  • Max 60 months or up to age 70, whichever comes first.

  • Installments deducted from pension account.


11. Security

  • Guarantee from spouse (if eligible for family pension), another family member, or third party with acceptable income.


12. Disbursement

  • Loan credited to pensioner’s Savings/Current Account.


13. Other Conditions

  • Loan allowed again only after full repayment of previous.

  • Net pension after EMI must be at least 50% of gross pension.

  • Mandatory KYC and Rs. 5 affidavit (no duplicate loans).

  • Residence verification & post-dated cheques (minimum 3).

  • Discretion to approve/reject lies with the Bank.

  • Disbursement must be done within one month of sanction.


14. Special Notes

  • Minor credit card default (≤ ₹1,000) → Higher-level approval needed.

  • Major credit card default (> ₹1,000) → Loan not allowed.

  • Up to 3 months' EMI of loans from other banks can be ignored for eligibility.
